Support for Wired O/O-/D/D- Mice + Keyboards

I've heard that you guys are planning/working on getting the wired mice and then the older keyboards (or vice versa I can't completely remember) onto CORE, I definitely think it's an important thing to do, but I didn't see it listed so I thought I would put it up.

Unfortunately this is not currently planned for all of our previous products. That being said, we are actively considering implementing this for some of our product lines in an iterative-like fashion. To be clear, this is not a confirmation and the development process will likely take a decent amount of effort, so nothing soon.

In the meantime we are committed to updating non-CORE product software and firmware as quickly and aggressively as possible.

GMMK 1 is the only TKL keyboard Glorious has for now and GMMK 1's software is far more primitive than CORE. A merge was requested quite a lot on Discord and Reddit. It would keep the product line up to date and not leave us GMMK 1 users fiddling with the fairly buggy old software.

This should definitely be implemented. The old GMMK keyboard software is buggy and plain awful. A lot of people still want to use a TKL keyboard like myself and GMMK1 TKL is your only choice for that.

I've got the GMMK 1, and it's such a good keyboard, but the software is so embarrassingly bad. Adding support for it in Glorious Core would make it such a better product.

For awhile I've been waiting for the moment that Glorious announces that GMMK 1 would get compatibility with Glorious Core but it hasn't happened yet. I feel that if this would happen, if GMMK 1 would get compatibility, it would help save some electricity by finally adding an idle option to the keyboard. It can also create matching colors like seen for the GMMK Pro and the GMMK 2. Yes I understand that there is a GMMK 2 and it's better etc but I don't want to pay $100 more when I have a keyboard almost like it right here. So if Glorious could, please make compatibility for GMMK 1, it would help so many people finally complete their setup and make the dream a reality.

I love Glorious, but I’m not sure I want to buy the newest gmmk pro / 2 when I just got a gmmk one. I really like the gmmk i have now, and it is glorious’s only TKL option. I’ve used compact RK’s before, and they just don’t feel as nice or have as many keys as I use. So that’s why I chose glorious. The GMMK Pro is missing a few keys I use with a TKL, and the full size GMMK 2 is too big, and defeats the purpose of the GMMK Numpad I just pre-ordered. The original GMMK is really the sweet spot, and I’m not adventurous enough to look into a Keychron either, when I’ve found a brand I trust. The original GMMK software (and the software for their wired mice) really sucks, having used it before. It rarely even opens when I click on it on my desktop, not to mention the overall look and functionality to be garbage. I use Core for my D Wireless, and soon for my Numpad, and to have the ability to use Core with the GMMK I have would be the cherry on top for my setup. No way am i using QMK, lol.

I feel like this software should be able to support more of Glorious's line up of peripherals. the GMMK 1 is still a great keyboard, with quite ho-hum software. it would be great to have deeper, easier customization with the GMMk 1.

I have both wired and wireless. I used the wired when my wireless run out of battery and in writing this I realised I could've used the cable for the wireless. I think backward support for Glorious Core is important but not at the expense of bulky and slow software. Such as Razer and Logitech mouse software which inconveniently show you their new products and make you sign up.

Hello! I just got my Model O Wired. I think it will be very nice adding Model O,O-/D,D- Wired compatibility to the Glorius CORE. It has so many features and setting debounce time to 0. The Model O software is just outdated :(

If support for the original Model O/O- wired was added, all the glorious products would work in the same environment, which would make things easier for people who own, say a Model O wired and a GMMK 2.

It would be nice if the wired glorious mice (besides model i and model o 2) were compatable with glorious core because I have a model o wired, and the default software is lacking some important things for the game that i play. also why are they seperate, what if every glorious product used glorious core?

Please, we're desperate for this to happen. Mainly what happens with my GMMK1 is that the software bugs all the time and is so slow. If you cannot make it compatible with your software at least release QMK and VIA compatibility for it so that people can use the VIA software aswell.

one of my biggest concerns was having to have to use 2 separate apps i hate having so many apps load on start and having to install so many apps so would be nice to have just the one app for mouse keyboard and rgb its kinda crazy how many apps are already installled icue eleet x1 glorious core i dont have the glorious mouse anymore as they didnt want to repair it then you have such a hard time making rgb profiles i dont even bother anymore in trying also have the sound card app and a few more little ones

Simply just support for the glorious core software I bought the wired model o as it was cheaper then the wireless I could have bought the wireless because I thought there was not much of a difference however I did not realize the wireless had a better software with more option now I am disappointed because glorious core is just much better then the main software for the model o wired

just update non core software pls like the ability to only access 4ms is a disadvantage to me i am a drag and butterfly clicker and own the model o- 1 wired and i am stuck with the 4ms its not too bad but having 0 ms makes a big diffrence (debounce time) another thing is i really like the glorious core ui

Can you make it so we can check battery level outside of the Glorious Core App? Like in the task bar or a widget on the Desktop? It could be the Glorious Icon and you mouse over it and it tells you your battery percentages across all your connected Glorious devices. I'm new here idk how many of yall's things are battery powered. Thanks <3 Love the mouse

I bought a Glorious Model D for my partner (heh..) and their GMMK 1 does not appear in Glorious Core. We would like to see support added so that we can have the experience unified in a single program for both devices.

Add support to Glorious Model O. As it is very important for some softwares and would be easier to manage. The Glorious Model O Wireless is already in Glorious CORE.
