Quick Access to Layer 2-3 with 1 key.
Be able to press Ctrl or any modifier key + another button to assign functionality or macros on layer 2 without fully switching over to it.
For example, FN + 1 to trigger a macro. Logitech G Hub and Asus ROG already support this functionality and I was surprised Glorious Core does not yet.

OwenThis is absolutely essential imo - I can't recommend anyone buy a keyboard missing this feature.

M. JouryThis is how layers *SHOULD* work. I am returning my keyboard because this functionality is not available. FN + key SHOULD be able to select layer 2 and there should also be an FN2 assignment possible. Without these improvements layers are useless. This is especially true for the 65% keyboard where there are no extra keys so secondary layer functions are essential. In fact, I would call the functionality today more like profiles than layers.

AymaneYeah :/ I got a second GMMK Pro and decided to give default firmware a try. But nope I can't live without Fn+End = Home and Fn+Delete = Insert..
I'll have to flash VIAL firmware (again) until this is added. -

Nicholas Pullo MergedWhat the heck.... Maybe im doing something wrong, but I cannot hold a key just to shift to layer 2 for a macro press and then right back to layer 1?!?!?! The cheapest of mechanical keyboards I have do this by holding the function key.

Psychomantys MergedCurrently if you bind a key let's say capslock to caps lock. You cannot bind it also to a layer change.
I was trying to set caps lock to change color when it's activated and revert when deactivated so there is no clear indicator.
When I set it to change layers when activated it deactivates the caps lock function of the key...
Can we have multiple functions binds? -

Phil MergedCapslock is a most pointless key. I know I can use the GMK software to remap keys but it'd be useful to do this in Core. E.g. Map Capslock to CTRL or make Fn+Shift generate ` (backtick).
Thanks for your work on this so far. Be great to have this feature as I have to completely skip Core to get keys mapped with GMK software.
