Add function layer shift button to mice
Set a button to trigger second-tier button functionality programmed through the application.
eg. set back to layer+ mode, which allows all remaining buttons to have additional functions outside of normal features.

Glorious Engineers AdminWe are actively working on this feature for the Model I and expect implementation within the next month. If there is enough interest we can consider importing this feature to other mice such as the Model O and Model D.

ph0enXDo I get you right? You mean something like G-Shift or EasyShift? That would be great for the Model I. Combined with an auto profile profile switch per app active this would be KILLER!
@Glorious Engineers: Wait? So you mean in a few days this shift functionality will come to my Model I? NICE
How will the layer shift work? Is it possible to choose from 2 functionalities like:
1. keep pressed to enter Shift mode and exit shift mode when key is released (easier for the Buttons on top of the mouse)
2. Press to enter shift and exit shift after the defined key is pressed (would be easier for the side buttons) -

Glorious Engineers AdminHi There! We are anticipating the new Layer Shift to be available for the Model I within the next few weeks. As far as the functionality, it will work as you described under point #1. However, the toggle option under #2 could be really cool. Essentially we would need a way to indicate which layer you are on at any given time but that should be a solvable issue. In any case, we recommend submitting that idea as new feature suggestion.
If it's something people want to see implemented, we are happy to look into it further! -

ph0enXFor the indication, either let the mouse wheel or the whole mouse light up in a given color, or let it flash, in a given color. So you know when you are in Shift Layer :)

sethPlease implement this for the other models (model D and model O) as well. Arguably, it's more impactful for the other models since they have less buttons.

JetI have both the Model O and D minus wireless mice. While I really enjoy using both mice, I have not use them as much lately since I started using Razer mice that has their "Hypershift" function, which is basically what is being requested here. Please add this feature to all your mice lineup. Thank you.

Sean van der MerweYes, please add to the rest of the lineup as well. I really liked using it in GHub, and miss it when using my Model O wireless. It really helps to organise the buttons a bit.

Glorious Engineers AdminHi, Jet. Our version of this functionality is referred to as "layer shift." It is currently only implemented for the Model I, but we may add it for the Model O/O- and Model D/D- in the future; However, at this time we are just monitoring the feedback for our "Layer Shift" feature on the Model I.

ozviy Mergedbasically i was wondering if we could place multiple layer shift buttons in the layer shift binds, like when i toggle on layer shift i can use another button to turn it off, i want to put my right click to my left click and then be able to switch back really easily without having to reach for the button and being able to put it on the other mouse button would be sick. its a very specific request but i feel like its an easy one.

wilbyI would very much like to see a layer shift function like hypershift. Just got my model O pro and I would like to bind my DPI switch to a layer shift to get a few more mouse buttons.

Rain StormbringerLayershift would be amazing on the other models. I have a Model D and a Model D wireless. I had to go back to the G Pro Wireless because of G-Shift. I would go back in a heart beat if they had Layershift.

Ter GorLayer shift function is critical to my buying decision. All my mousrs are Razer because of their Hypershift functionality. I would seriously consider buying Glorious mouse only if there is such function in the line up.

VindrytterLayer Shift should be available for every Glorious mouse.
I have been using the shift function for almost 10 years since I bought CM Storm Inferno mouse.
Since then, I buy only those mice in which I can assign additional functions to the buttons. Roccat, Logitech, Razer but unfortunately not Glorious.
