GMMK Numpad Additional Knob and Slider Functionality
In addition to the default volume and channel adjustment on the GMMK Numpad additional mappings for these controls would help content creators and users better navigate their systems and digital tools. Programs such as the Adobe suite would benefit greatly with knob and slider controls such as: brush size, opacity, brush hardness, zoom, layer navigation, and number field increase/decrease.
Mappings for desktop navigation could include: page zoom, desktop switch, window switch, media play, pause, forward and back, and even screen brightness.
The ability for users to create their own mappings would be a great addition as well.
Just a few ideas to get the most functionality out of the GMMK Numpad

CraigYes!!! How is volume the only thing supported right now?

HermanAlso can it be used so that the slider works for the focused application?

JavanI use a lot of frame toggling for animation software, (keybinds for frame prev and frame next) and if i could scrub by using the rotary encoder knob, I'd be really happy. I'm kind of a layman, and haven't taken the deep dive into qmk or anything yet, but having the capability of setting "knob left" to a keybind, and "knob right" to another would be amazing.

Junkerforward/back (left/right) cursor is exactly what I am looking for.

JonasI suggest that a new feature where there are keybinds relative to the position of the slider, not just to bind it as a scroll wheel, but each ~10cm part of the slider can be bind to a keyboard key. An example of the use of is this to switch through my hotbar, since I use my numpad as my gaming keyboard for my laptop. For the knob, I was thinking to bind the scroll wheel to it.

KieranYes this will be ABSOLUTELY helpful! Aside from aesthetics, I pre-ordered the GMMK numpad for this very reason only to find out later that it's currently not doable. I was hoping to use the knob and slider for Photoshop and After Effects but both of them can only be used for volume control at the moment? Which is funny, why only volume lol.

TristanThe feature I'd love to see from the slider is to match its relative position to the relative position of a scrollbar on a page. e.g.: Slider at the very top puts you at the top of a .pdf / webpage, slider in the middle puts you in the middle, etc...

AlexPlease add more functionality to the numpad GMMK Numpad for the slider and volume knob.
I'm not sure if this is possible, but is it possible to make the rotary dial function as a backspace and delete when turning it left (backspace) and right(delete)?
As for the slider, I would prefer if we could control app volumes with it instead of just output devices.
Thank you! -

SigveI'd really like the slider to be able to switch between 2 profiles (profile 1 when above 50% on slider, profile 2 when below). This way I can quickly swap between using it as a numpad and a macropad.

WayneCould you make the knob rotation work like the side scroller (left/right) wheel on the Logitech MX Master 3? that would make navigating large datasets/code easier

Matt StevensonCursor functionality for the knob and slider would be appreciated.
I'm mostly thinking of the knob, for cursor forward and cursor backward.
I currently have the "click" of the knob mapped to "Backspace" and it works very intermittently so I think the knob has some bugs as it stands right now. -

Welches MergedHaving both the GMMK Pro and GMMK Numpad I find myself struggling to find things to bind to the dials. I don't need volume control, as I do that via my interface - but I'd love a horizontal scroll similar to a Logitech MX Master mouse. We have a vertical scroll option, but horizontal would be great too.
The option to switch from vertical to horizontal scroll by clicking in the knob would be fantastic as well. -

ErickIt would be great to assign each direction of the knob to a particular button. For example, I require flipping through several single page documents using 9 and 3. It would be great if turning the knob in one direction would allow this. Thanks

Howard MoonI honestly would like to use it as an 'analog' slider for simulators. Thinking Star Citizen with the mining laser, or thrust in flight sim, or 7key+Slider up/down for raising hydraulics on farm implements in Farming Simulator, 8key+slider (+/-) for inverting bucket on loaders, or any number of options using the numpad keys as modifiers for that purpose would make this product exponentially more useful and really gives meaning to the advertised claim of programmable knob and slider on their product page.

rockpaperdaddyYou got my vote. Owning GMMK Pro and GMMK Numpad without being unable to custom map the rotary and slider makes 2 of 3 useless.

MattIt would be really helpful if both the rotary knob and the slider were fully customizable. I use CAD constantly for work and the added functionality that I could add to the numpad could really save me a lot of time. Additionally, the slider is rendered useless for me currently because I cannot download the CORE software to my company computer.

KevinWould really appreciate it if the slider can control windows default volume without the core software running, like how the rotary knob can. And also have feature where the slider or rotary knob can adjust the brightness of the numpad.

ChristopherPlease do not abandon this product, glorious. It's the best numpad out there. Please implement all the requests and add VIA support.

Rafale77Another vote to add the ability to adjust the brightness of the RGB with either the slider or the knob.

XonareI just bought the GMMK Numpad and that is literally my first feedback - add functions to the rotary knob and slider :D

DerickThis should not be under consideration and must be implemented. The device is good overall and may improved your sales if you do this right 100% sure especially the mapping for knob and slider. I might be waiting for this to be implemented first before buying the product.
