Rotary Knob channel control

It would be great if we could change the audio channel that the rotary knob controlled. For example, if we could make it so the knob controlled only the volume of one specific audio channel for apps such as spotify, chrome, discord, games, etc. that would be great.

Some people use audio interfaces and I believe being able to which device the dial on the keyboard changes would be amazing.
