The 'Turn off after inactivity' feature applies to devices even with a wired connection.
Suggestion #1: Only apply this feature to devices connected wirelessly.
Suggestion #2: Allow this feature to be enabled per-profile, rather than software wide.
Example of current state: User has Glorious Model O Wireless and a Glorious Numpad. They have this feature enabled in order to increase the battery life on their mouse. However, their Glorious Numpad now turns off after being inactive even when it is plugged in via usb cable. Inputs do not work on the numpad until it has been awakened.
