Horizontally scrolling

First: English is not my native language, but I'm doing my best.
Now that we have layer shift, we could have use for horizontally scrolling.
For example: With the Model i or i2 you could bind the action/sniper button to layer-shift which changes the vertically scrolling on the mouse wheel to horizontally. Would smooth out a lot of working tasks, like in music or video edting. Also on streaming sites like netflix you could conveniently scroll through the movies.
